Lori Waters-Sim
Lori Waters-Sim is a passionate educator with a deep commitment to bringing the benefits of nature and place-based outdoor play to children. She holds a Bachelor of Education degree and is currently completing Masters work in Place and Nature- Based Education through Simon Fraser University.
 
As a co-founder of St. Albert Nature School, Lori has spent years creating an environment where children thrive through direct engagement with the natural world.
 
She combines her academic expertise with a hands-on, child centred approach to develop programming specializing in integrating nature into educational practices and helping children develop resilience, creativity and a lasting connection to the outdoors.
 
Through her work at SANS and advocacy around outdoor play, Lori has made a significant impact in the childcare community inspiring both educators and families to embrace the transformative power of nature and place-based outdoor play in a child's development.
